A collective effort from creatives with architectural backgrounds, Karya highlights historic architectural landmarks through abstracted designs of our nation’s iconic buildings.
Each creative was assigned to create an illustration depicting National Museum, Parliament Building, and Stadium Merdeka respectively.
Stadium Merdeka
"Elevating unity as a post-Merdeka masterpiece, Stadium Merdeka stands as an icon of Malaysia's journey to independence."
– Munirah Syafika
National Museum
“Preservation and narration first start with dissecting its elements and identifying the quality of each. This scarf was designed with the same stride and intention; taking each and every iconic elements of National Museum and lay it out for its intricacy & simplicity to be appreciated individually and later to be valued as a whole whenever you visit National Museum.”
– Lisa Goh Ker Jia
Parliament Building
“It is my hope that through this collaborative effort between design and architecture and by owning with you a small portion of our most iconic nation buildings, it will serve as a constant reminder of the timeless beauty that exists within our country.”
– Adibah Awang
